What is your Dream for Traveling?

I love traveling the world and checking out new things in the world if it is the culture or food or alcohol. Traveling to different places is a lot of fun and I enjoy every minute of it. If I get lost or have to ask for help it is part of the fun of traveling of becoming a citizen and blending with the locals. Talking to locals about their views of the world and what they want and see in the world is terrific because it is always different no matter where you go. It is great to try and see different perspectives of the world.

I want to know everyone elses views of traveling or why everyone else who reads this blog wants to become a world traveler. Or where you would like to go or why you want to see things if it because your relatives lived there or you just want to! Let Travelers welcome here your biggest traveling dreams.

Breaking news from the travel world there is a new law coming into affect for international travelers. Starting in 2012 there is going to be a new tax on airfare to Europe. This cost is coming to cancel off the carbon green print that airplanes put off in the air. This is great for the planet for having one of the first taxes on pollution but at the same time the cost is going to passed down to the consumer. So all international travelers be ready for the prices of flight to increase do if you are planning on going on trip any time soon to Europe I would recommend booking your flight soon for this tax does not affect you.

Greener airplanes EuropeHowever this airfare tax is under a lot of scrutiny in the world and companies and fighting against it so it should be interesting to see how this story plays out and who will win. But I hope that this does not affect any bodies travel plans to much and that you can continu

The Best Places to Travel in the Winter

January 4, 2012 in Winter Travel

Traveling in the Winter is a different experience and there is two types of winter traveling one is to get out of the cold and go to the warmer weather or the other is to travel and enjoy the snow. This list is going to consist of a combination of these types of places. Well then lets get started to getting excited for traveling.

#1 Costa Rica

It is an amazing place to see all year round but the weather is still terrific there in the winter and they offer so many things to do. You can hang out with the monkeys in the trees. Enjoy the amazing beach on the coast, while learning how to surf. not to mention that it is one of the cheaper places to travel in winter because not many people visit this time of the year.  Costa Rica will be a vacation that you will never forget.

#2 Denver, Colorado

If you like the snow and the activities that comes a long with it then Denver is the place to go. With Aspen Colorado just a few hours away you will be able to ski, snowboard, build snowman, and relax in log cabins in this winter wonderland. You will never run out of things to do or see. There is more things to do in Denver in the winter than there is in the summer.

#3 Southern ItalySouth italy

In January and February in South Italy the weather is amazing you will forget about the cold and be able to sit outside and drink the Italian wine in the city centers. Winter is a wonderful time to go and visit because there is a fewer tourists around so you will be able to get the real Italian experience. There is many beaches and tourist attractions in just the south of Italy that you will not have to leave there your whole vacation.

The Swiss Alps#4 Switzerland

The Alps in Switzerland is a site that everyone has to see in their lifetime but in the winter the look even more amazing. With almost always fresh powder coming onto the slopes you will be able to enjoy the best skiing. However this trip is a little more expensive on our list and that is why it ranks a little lower. Therefore if you want to enjoy some incredible snow fall and not willing to spend the extra money you will have a blast.

#5 Hawaii

Hawaii is one of the most popular destinations for Americans in the Winter but you can not blame them you can get out of the cold and pleasured with all of the amazing attractions and food. You will get hula dancers and fire throwers and surfers. It will not look like winter in Hawaii if that is what you are looking for then it is a perfect location for you.

If you are a world traveler these are all places that you need to visit in your lifetime they all offer different things to enjoy and see. You will never get board in these places because there is so many great things about all of them it will be hard to see all of the greatness in them but these cities peak in the winter.

international drivers license

International Drivers Permit

If you want to drive while you are on vacation it is really easy to get a international drivers permit which will let you drive in over 200 countries. Even you are thinking about driving there or only for emergencies it is definitely worth it. All you have to do is get two passport size photos and have a valid U.S drivers license and then you are good to go. Bring all these things to your local triple a (even if you are not a member they will make one for you) fill out an application and pay $15 and then you will have your international drivers permit within seconds. This makes it extremely easy to drive while you are abroad, if you are planning on traveling through many countries or just one this makes it really easy to be able to get around without depending on other modes of transportation.

Drive safe while you are abroad every country does drive a little differently so be prepared for a lot while driving but you will be able to see more of the country side while you driving and get to feel the real experience of that country.
