Going to Europe is a lot of fun with many things to see and every couple hundred miles citizens will be speaking a different language and many more things to see and experience. Munich is one of the top tourist locations in Germany and is famous for holding the annual Oktoberfest. Some of the most popular things to see if you are coming to Munich.

#1 Oktoberfest

This is the best thing to see in Munich Germany because you will experience the real German way of life, it is typical for Germans to wear leather pants and woman their tight corset dresses. While you are there people will singing and drinking all night long it is one great experience. It is unlike anything else that you will see in Europe people will be standing on top of picnic tables and in German they call beer tables  singing their hearts out to old German music with beers in their hand. it is a wonderful experience this year it starts on September 17, 2011 and goes to October 3, 2011. #2 Marien Place

Marien place is in the city center of Munich where it contains the city hall of Munich. It is an magnificent site to see it looks like an old cuckoo clock with different times throughout the day the tower will go play music and figures will move along on the main tower. In Marien Place it also contains the best shopping area in Munich with Maximillan street where only the higher class go while just a few minutes walk away is a market place with fresh fruits, meat, vegetables, everything you can ask for is there. Also in this area is also a small beer garden where you can drink in the middle of the town and watch people it is a great place to get to try German customs the food,beer, and people. It is one great place to just chill and relax.

#3 English Garden

The English Garden is the largest park in Munich and there are so many things to do inside this park. This park makes central park look small it is crazy how massive this park is when you are walking through it it just keeps going and going. It contains a beer garden, several lakes, a river runs through it, it is a great place for the locals to go for runs, play soccer, tan, relax, have a picnic, and even surf. The Isa river in the English garden creates a natural wave so you can surf all day long if you would like. It is a great place to grab an ice cream and relax under the sun in Munich Germany.

#4 The Hofbrauhaus

The Hofbrauhaus is like a small Oktoberfest going all the time it is also located in the city center. You will give to feel like you are a real German here there is no way that you will get your won table there it is seat yourself and first come first tables. So you will be in the middle of the heart of Germany with the world famous German beer and just being engulfed with the culture they have there. There you will see the typical German outfits again and you will get a taste of live German Music with trumpets and other instruments it is great drinking music.

#5 Neuschwanstein

This is one of the most famous castles in the world. The Cinderella Castle was designed after Neuschwanstein. This castle is on top of a hill with a river that goes around it is jaw dropping scenery that it creates you are also able to go inside the castle with a tour and they have a lot of the original structure of the castle. It is perfect for people of all ages there is not a lot of walking and there are buses from Munich going there all day long.
